Both have xxx - xxxxx serial numbers which are the earliest ones I thought (?) It is slightly bluer too, the thicker one is more blackish navy. Everything else the same in style, size and details and font, spacing, size and words on serial. the hardware is slightly less heavy too as well as a lighter shoulder strap which is the same proportions. It's that thicker shinier leather.ДЇound another navy Monterey and did NOT have it authenticated and bought it for a gift. I bought the Monterey hobo you authenticated for me and it is very thick leather, almost as thick, if not as thick, as a New York made basic bag with glued in serial number I have. Whenever this gets answered is fine, if anybody might know. Hi, just came over here after posting a couple more fakes in Authenticate thread.

As I say I use them anyway, right size/color. They were not pricey, but yes, I was sick about it. Oh, both creeds made in the United States. Thanks for facts/info/good opinions and I'll get to practicising, (I hate technical stuff). If they weren't introduced until 2000's they are fake. If I remember correctly, one seller called it a Legacy Hobo. I am assuming they are 1990's by the numbers and had no idea when style was introduced. I would think the boxy simple style would be very easy to fake! When I first looked at (discovered) Coach, I actually thought Coach was not enough of a designer bag to fake, especially old leather ones! But when I saw the picture of an authentic one I wondered. There are other things on one like stitching that gets very tiny and probably other things to the trained eye. I had already decided they were probably fake after finding the stamps on the buckles I did not see until later. I do have to try eventually and am determined.
